Today marks the 4th death anniversary of the legendary comedian Moin Akhtar, who has left deep memories in everyone’s hearts. Born on December 24, 1950 Moin Akhtar made his way to the entertainment industry of Pakistan in 1966. He rose to the national spotlight by doing a parody of actor Muhammad Ali. Anwar Maqsood, Bushra Ansari and Moin Akhtar were the perfect combinations of any sitcom, comedy talk show or serials. Moin Akhtar have given a lot to the entertainment industry. Many Friends from entertainment industry remember him as a true star, best friend, brother and ideal. Samina Peerzada, the reclaimed actress expressed her feelings,
“I have worked with Moin in both theatre and TV and I had an amazing time with him. He was truly an icon, a legend. There was nobody like him and there will be no one like him. I truly miss him,” she said. “He was an extremely funny and he would always have a prank up his sleeve. Ullu bohat banatay thay, and he would pull it in such a serious way that anyone would fall for it,”
Not just in Pakistan, Moin Akhtar was also loved across the borders. He also received countless awards for his amazing acting skills. After his death on April 22, 2011, he was awarded ‘Pride of Performance’ in 2012 as well.
