Ever since news broke that the Duchess of Cambridge had gone into labour at about 6am this morning, people were waiting for the first look at the new royal baby – the fourth in line to the throne.
And at 8.34am the baby girl was born – announced via email and on twitter.
There had been hopes all four of the Cambridge family would be photographed on the steps of The Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in London – especially after Prince George turned up with his dad Prince William in the afternoon.
But the Royal couple came out with their baby girl, but they did not have any words for the waiting press.
There is still no news on the name of the Princess, but traditional names such as Alice, Elizabeth and Charlotte are favourite names. (Source)
